Promises
I have enjoyed the teaching of Graham Cooke, where he says promises are the language of heaven. He shares how God is both a promise maker and keeper. Marriage is one way God chose to give us a reflection of himself. On December 8, 2019, we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Madison to our new son Blake Bonts. The sharing of their vows, which they each had written, reminded me of many promises God has made to you me. Here is one of my favorites. Philippians 4:6-7 Voice [6] Don't be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. [7] And know that the peace of God ( a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One.
